Day 5, ABCs of Gratitude: Exercise


Welcome back! We are five days into the 'ABCs of Gratitude'!! How are you feeling? Do you notice a change when you start your day thinking about something you are grateful for? I find that thinking about that same thing throughout the day perks me up and puts a little pep in my step.

Today, for the letter 'E', I am grateful for Exercise!

My parents got me into sports at the age of five and from the moment I played my first game of "bunch ball" soccer, I have always had exercise in my life. I am grateful for exercise because in the same workout, I can get rid of angry and negative feelings and regain positive and productive thoughts.

Earlier this year, I was introduced to Blogilates by my friend and StyleUp contributor, Carol Chuang. Created by the always-energetic Cassey Ho, Blogilates is a fun, informational, and accessible pilates-based exercise YouTube series and blog--and then some! Below is a great image from her blog that captures the various relationship people have with working out. Which step do you find yourself? I think mine varies by day and I'm ok with that!
